Sunbelt Rentals is the fastest growing rental business in North America. As a Regional Sales Director, you will work with the Regional Vice President (RVP) to develop, communicate, and implement the overall go-to-market strategy for your region, through continuous improvement of the sales culture and processes.

• Manage Key Account Program — set quarterly goals for KAR relevant to seasonality and market trends; provide information and support for DMs to manage and support Key Accounts within their geographic area; call on National, Strategic, and Key Account customers to develop relationships and promote Sunbelt Rentals products and services; communicate key account opportunities to other districts and regions.
• Sales Support — develop and facilitate sales training initiatives with the RVP and DMs; define strategies for territory coverage, rate initiatives, and rent goals; coordinate with DMs, PCMs, and HR on recruitment and development of OSRs; collaborate with Sales Support Team on creation and validation of sales territories; support CSR development and implementation.
• Operational Support — assist in developing and implementing Regional Go-to-Market strategies; support fleet rent-ready standards through collaboration with PCMs and Shop Foremen; help establish facility appearance standards for all facilities in the region.

• College Degree in Business or equivalent experience
• 5 to 7 years of proven sales experience
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop subordinates
• Ability to operate across all functions of the company from senior levels down
• Previous proven supervisory experience
• Ability to handle multiple projects; motivate, inspire, and achieve results through others
• Proven ability to drive results in alignment with Sunbelt values and goals
• Extensive overnight travel required. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history. Ability to lift, bend, squat, reach, crouch, kneel, and sit for long periods. Physical demands include bending, squatting, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.
