Pepperl+Fuchs is looking for an experienced Account Manager with a solid foundation in industrial automation and/or enterprise mobility sales plus a proven track record of success. Account Managers are responsible for all sales activities within their designated territory; including maintaining existing business, building relationships, seeking growth opportunities and driving new sales with customers who are looking for Enterprise Mobility solutions in the Industrial and Hazardous Area sectors.
- The Account Manager is responsible for all sales activities within the designated territory, including maintaining existing business and will have the overall responsibility for the pursuit and winning of mobility projects.
- Conduct presentations and sales calls at designated target account sites.
- Maintain and develop customer relationships through 24/7 customer service including pricing, quotes, delivery and technical assistance.
- Work closely with customers to define product requirements.
- Maintain detailed records and communications as needed.
- Expedite existing orders while working closely with purchasing and manufacturing.
- Provide new product information and technical training to customers.
- Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, IT, or Manufacturing Technologies
- 5 to 7years minimum sales experience with at least 2 years in a global environment.
- Ability to work and communicate in a variety of settings.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure vendors.
- Working knowledge of electrical codes.
- Experience selling telecom and industrial communications in a business-to-business setting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as the use of the intranet and the internet.
