Business Development Manager
Alp Ha Measurement Solutions is a globally integrated liquid sensor manufacturer serving water quality, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and industrial markets. We are accelerating growth through the recent acquisition by Enpro Inc. and need a Business Development Manager to lead our Houston-based team, drive new account acquisition, and commercialize new product introductions.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop the business development team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and development of business development while establishing clear prospecting standards, pipeline expectations, and measurable activity metrics.
- Own and execute business development and NPI forecasting and budgeting processes, setting annual targets with Finance and measuring performance against revenue and margin objectives.
- Drive new account acquisition and target-market expansion through strategy, prospecting, trade show engagement, networking, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Support new product launches by penetrating target end markets with Alp Ha’s differentiated sensor technologies.
- Translate competitive analysis, customer requirements, market feedback, and early adopter engagement into actionable product and go-to-market strategies aligned with Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, and Operations.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve business development processes, including prospecting strategies, NPI commercialization workflows, opportunity qualification standards, CRM discipline, and pipeline management.
- Own and execute regional trade show strategy with budgeting, messaging, staffing, and execution.
- Travel up to 50% of the time to coach team members, engage prospects and customers, and represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Partner across functions to align new product launches and market development strategies with commercial execution.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 5–7 years of business development leadership experience in industrial markets.
- Proven track record driving commercialization of new products and penetrating emerging markets in a technical B2B environment.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated results in authoritative decision-making and execution.
- Excellent communication of technical and complex information to senior management.
- Proficient in CRM and ERP systems for managing sales tasks, pipeline, and transaction execution.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Global headquarters in Houston, TX. Reports to the North America Sales Director.
ClassificationSalaried/Exempt, Full‑Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with additional hours as required.
