Territory Sales Representative

Overview

Drive growth across a Texas-based territory, supporting customers in power generation, renewables, and industrial energy markets
. This role is ideal for experienced sales professionals skilled in value‑added, technical sales in energy‑intensive industries such as power generation (gas, coal, steam), renewable energy (wind, solar), oil & gas, and heavy industrial environments
. Leverage a consultative, solution-oriented approach to position Roxtec’s engineered sealing solutions in mission‑critical power applications and support customers navigating evolving energy demands, asset reliability challenges, and large‑scale infrastructure investments.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Management
    :
    Own and manage multiple strategic accounts within a specific business segment and territory; develop and implement customized strategies; execute comprehensive strategic plans to capture market share.
  • Sales and Revenue Accountability
    :
    Be directly accountable for sales revenue; define sales potential, prepare budgets, and maintain sales tracking; develop and maintain a sales opportunity pipeline; monitor and report on sales performance metrics; utilize CRM software for daily sales activities; drive sustainable sales growth and engineering specifications by building relationships with key decision‑makers.
  • Market Insight and Trends
    :
    Cultivate understanding of the business segment; stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape; develop action plans at the account level; identify opportunities for expansion and growth within the strategic accounts portfolio.
  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
    :
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers; provide technical presentations and product installation training; maintain awareness of Roxtec internal policy and core values.
  • Build and expand strategic relationships across Texas’s energy sector; navigate complex and technical sales cycles within power generation facilities and renewable projects; partner with engineers, project teams, and decision‑makers to influence specifications and drive adoption; communicate total cost of ownership and long‑term reliability value in high‑consequence environments; understand plant operations, identify risk, and deliver solutions that enhance safety, uptime, and performance.
Requirements
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60%
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Value Added Selling and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Time and travel management skills
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or comparable work experience
  • Experience
    : 3 years of B2B sales; technical and/or project sales preferred
