Client is a global manufacturer of engineered and fabricated metal products into heavy industry, oil/gas/petrochem/chemicals, commercial/industrial construction and similar.
The position covered the noted territory and works primarily with mid‑large companies, coordinating with colleagues in other areas of the country, cold‑calls, account management, and everything between.

CompensationBase: $70K - $80K Year 1 OTE: $100K - $125K Year 2 OTE: $130K - $170K

- Experience in B2B sales into commercial/industrial construction and/or manufacturing, petrochem,
- Located in the area noted in description
- Must not need a visa now or in the future to work legally in the U.S.
- Build and execute a territory business plan aligned to revenue and margin targets
- Generate net new opportunities through cold outreach, site visits, referrals and industry networking
- Identify and map target accounts across construction, manufacturing and industrial sectors within your territory
- Engage multiple stakeholders including safety managers, plant managers, engineers and executive level decision makers
- Conduct on‑site consultations including rooftop walkthroughs, hazard identification and solution scoping
- Translate technical requirements into tailored proposals and engineered solutions in collaboration with internal teams
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, qualification, solution development, proposal presentation and close
- Maintain strong pricing discipline to protect margins and maximize commission outcomes
- Manage a rolling pipeline of opportunities across multiple deal stages with accurate forecasting
- Leverage CRM to track activity, opportunities, quotes and revenue progression
- Partner closely with engineering, project management and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Continuously build market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends and customer needs within the territory
- 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota
- Experience selling into mid‑market, Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 environments with complex buying groups
- Demonstrated use of a structured sales process including prospecting, discovery, solution alignment and closing
- Proven ability to build a territory from scratch including account mapping, pipeline generation and market penetration
- Strong consultative selling experience within a B2B technical environment with the ability to diagnose problems and prescribe solutions
- Experience managing long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and decision layers
- Ability to confidently engage technical and non‑technical audiences including engineers, operations leaders and executives
- Comfortable working at heights including flat rooftops and industrial environments to conduct site walkthroughs and assessments
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance revenue growth and margin protection
- Highly disciplined in pipeline management, forecasting and CRM usage
- Self‑starter mindset with high ownership, urgency and accountability for results
- Strong communication, presentation and proposal development skills
