- The Food service Equipment Sales Executive reports to the Director - Contract Sales.
- Location:
Houston, TX (Remote within Houston TX area). - Full‑time, commission‑eligible.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide expert consultation to clients on equipment selection, layout, and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post‑sale follow‑up.
- Identify and hunt specific segments within the food service industry (e.g., new openings, renovations, expansions).
- Build relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, and hospitality operators.
- Develop targeted cold calling and emailing campaigns.
- Conduct on‑site visits to potential clients to assess their needs and offer personalized solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Maintain a well‑organized and updated sales pipeline.
- Track and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates to the management team.
- Utilize technology tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Understanding of the features, benefits, and technical specifications of various food service equipment.
- Proven ability to identify, hunt, qualify, and close sales with strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to understand and meet the needs of clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and market conditions.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong understanding of the food service industry, including restaurant operations, kitchen layouts, and equipment functionality.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the food service or related industry.
- Exceptional hunting skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, fostering long‑term relationships.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage sales pipelines, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understanding and interpretation of technical specifications, blueprints, and installation requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
Compensation includes the posted base salary range and does not reflect potential commission, incentive, bonus, or other additional compensation opportunities, where applicable. Total compensation is determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job‑related compensatory factors.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in Tri Mark’s benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
