As we prepare for significant growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive business growth in these market segments.

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and business development, coupled with a passion for sustainability and circular economies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background with experience working in fashion, footwear, or automotive industries.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and collaborations.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong, enduring relationships with key decision-makers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and ensure prompt resolution of issues.

Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the management team on market developments and customer needs.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Streamline sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverage Hub Spot CRM to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate insightful reports.

Team Leadership and

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to drive business growth.

Customer Education and Engagement:

  • Educate customers on the benefits of sustainable plastics and our innovative product offerings.
  • Engage with customers through webinars, presentations, and other marketing initiatives to foster awareness and interest.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Design or a related field.
  • Proven track record of accomplishments in sales and business development, preferably within consumer goods, fashion, apparel, or automotive.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret opportunities in the market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other European languages is advantageous.
  • Position based in Houston, Texas, remote optional.
  • Domestic and international travel is required.
