We are seeking a motivated, results‑driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will represent Advanced Flow Technologies Americas Inc. with professionalism and integrity, helping customers identify the best solutions for their fluid handling and industrial equipment needs while expanding our presence in key markets.

Position

Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers. This position focuses on strategic market growth, customer engagement, and revenue generation by promoting the company’s products and engineered solutions. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously, and comfortable traveling to support customers, develop partnerships, and grow the business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to support company growth objectives.
  • Meet or exceed established revenue goals, growth targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing customers.
  • Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with customers, distributors, OEMs, and strategic partners.
  • Generate and qualify new opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations to identify application needs and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and value‑driven solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Manage opportunities throughout the entire business development cycle, from initial contact through project completion and follow‑up.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and activity within the company CRM system.
  • Collaborate with engineering, customer service, operations, and management to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive products, and market opportunities.
  • Travel approximately 50% to visit customers, attend trade shows, conduct product demonstrations, support strategic growth initiatives, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Represent Advanced Flow Technologies Americas Inc. professionally while promoting the company’s products, services, and core values.
  • Participate in regular business planning meetings, product training, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of business development, outside sales, account management, or industrial sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in industrial equipment, pumps, fluid handling, filtration, metering, automation, or related industries is preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and develop effective technical and commercial solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Self‑motivated with excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%.
