Specialty Representative / Senior Specialty Representative – Primary Care – Repatha Live
Territory:
San Antonio Northwest (including Medical Center), Del Rio, Uvalde, Bandera. Relocation is not provided for this role.
- Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals.
- Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by implementing and delivering branded sales messages and strategies, including delivering branded sales messages, implementing planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle, building the brand and serving patients.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn to grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
- Leverage disease‑state awareness, industry changes, regulatory updates, and competitive changes to deliver agreed results.
- Basic Qualifications – Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of sales experience; or high school diploma/GED and 6 years of sales experience.
- Basic Qualifications – Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/ scientific field not sales related; or Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience; or high school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry.
- Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology or infectious diseases and related therapies.
- Local market knowledge and established relationships in the territory.
- Speaks and understands Chinese (where applicable).
- Degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.

Expected annual salary ranges are:
Specialty Representative – $89,880 to $121,602;
Senior Specialty Representative – $115,036 to $155,638.
