Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation – Responsible for attaining or exceeding monthly sales revenue quota. Apply sales skills, present Dignity Memorial® Personal Planning Guide electronic presentations to consumers, inform about at‑need cemetery and pre‑need services, influence consumer on benefits of pre‑planning, guide families through cemetery grounds or crematory mausoleums, listen to needs, offer solutions, provide service beyond expectations, promote SCI Brand and service excellence, follow company processes, complete contracts, conduct final contract walkthrough, address final questions.
- Prospecting – Self‑initiate leads through community, networks, civic organizations, events, door knocking, seminars. Target at least 50% of workday for prospecting. Maintain and track activity in CRM to ensure productivity. Work nights and weekends. Obtain referrals from families served through after‑care visits (ACV). Schedule sales appointments. Prepare marketing materials and cultural knowledge for appointments.
- Build Relationships with Families – Establish and maintain professional relationships with families by listening, honest communication, and genuine concern. Support families in times of grief with acts of kindness; attend services and/or receptions. Provide a continuous link of services at need, through aftercare, to future services.
- Teamwork – Collaborate and build professional working relationships with management and staff to provide high‑quality services, improve processes, and share family concerns with the SCI team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Funeral Directors License required where state law necessitates; company will support licensing.
- Life Insurance license where state law necessitates.
- Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Sales experience preferred; industry experience a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and at least one of Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Hindi is preferred.
- Previous Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems experience is a plus.
- Computer and technology proficiency.
- Goal‑oriented self‑starter.
- Public speaking ability; comfortable presenting to small groups.
- Excellent teamwork and independent work skills.
- Ability to work significant number of evenings and weekends.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
$50,000 to $100,000 targeted compensation with higher earnings potential based on exceptional performance.
