Are you a staffing sales professional who actually understands how MSP works — not just what the acronym stands for?
This is a new business role for a proven hunter. Our client is a growing workforce solutions provider with established MSP programmes across engineering, energy, and life sciences. They're expanding their Houston footprint and need a BDM who can open doors, build relationships, and close new MSP contracts — not manage existing ones.
If you've been selling staffing or workforce solutions, you understand VMS platforms, you know how to navigate a procurement‑led sales process, and you're tired of being held back, read on.
What you'll be doing- Identifying and winning new MSP and workforce solutions contracts across Houston and the wider Texas market
- Building relationships with procurement, HR, and operations stakeholders at mid‑to‑large enterprises in engineering, energy, life sciences, and professional services
- Developing and presenting tailored workforce solutions proposals and MSP programme designs
- Owning the full sales cycle — from prospecting and cold outreach through to contract negotiation and close
- Collaborating with delivery and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to implementation
- Hitting and exceeding revenue targets — this role has a strong commission structure for those who perform
- Currently working at a staffing, recruitment, or workforce solutions company — this is non‑negotiable
- Demonstrable understanding of the MSP model: how programmes are structured, priced, implemented, and managed
- A genuine hunter — you're most comfortable opening new accounts, not farming existing ones
- Experience selling into engineering, energy, life sciences, or other professional (non‑IT) sectors
- Between 2 and 15 years of experience in staffing or workforce solutions sales
- Based in Houston, TX — you know the market, you have the network
- Competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure
- Strong OTE of $120,000–$150,000+ for those who hit target
- Autonomy to build your own territory and client base
