Purposeof the Job
The Sales Development Representative is the frontline of i-PRO's growth engine, responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting. This role focuses on engaging decision-makers at potential customer organizations, uncovering their security challenges, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executive team. SDRs play a critical role in building i-PRO's sales pipeline and launching their careers in technology sales.
Key Responsibilities- Outbound Prospecting
- Execute daily cold calling, email campaigns, and Linked In outreach using assigned Salesforce prospect lists to generate interest and secure meetings with decision-makers. - Meeting Scheduling
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings between prospects and Account Executives with detailed handoff notes on prospect needs and organizational context. - Qualification & Discovery
- Conduct qualification conversations using BANT methodology to assess fit, uncover security pain points, and determine opportunity potential. - Strategic Initiative Alignment
- Support company growth strategies by prioritizing outreach to target segments and use cases aligned with i-PRO's key strategic priorities and product launches. - CRM
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records for all activities, conversations, and outcomes while managing cadences in Salesloft. - Product Knowledge Development
- Build working knowledge of i-PRO's video surveillance, access control, body-worn camera, and emergency response solutions to conduct credible consultative conversations. - Team Collaboration
- Partner with Sales Development Manager, Account Executives, and Data team to refine targeting, messaging, and qualification strategies based on market feedback.
Education & Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required
- Demonstrated interest in sales or business development through coursework, extracurricular activities, or related experience
- Resilience & Communication:
Maintains positive attitude through rejection; articulate and confident in phone, email, and written communication with professionals at all organizational levels. - Active Listening & Coachability:
Genuinely curious about prospect challenges; receptive to feedback and committed to implementing coaching to improve results. - Self-Management & Drive:
Self-directed with strong time management; goal-oriented with competitive drive to succeed in metrics-driven environment - Technical Aptitude:
Comfort learning new technology platforms including CRM (Salesforce), sales engagement tools (Salesloft), prospecting databases (Seamless.ai), Linked In, and virtual meeting platforms - Sales & Product Knowledge:
Basic understanding of B2B sales processes and qualification frameworks (BANT); ability to quickly learn i-PRO's product portfolio and articulate value across video surveillance, access control, emergency response, and body-worn camera solutions (comprehensive training provided)
