Spinnaker SCA, a company of Publicis Sapient, is seeking a Lead Generation / Business Development Manager to drive qualified pipeline growth through targeted outbound prospecting and relationship building across our supply chain consulting professional services portfolio. This role focuses on identifying and engaging decision‑makers within Fortune 1000 supply chain organizations, uncovering professional services and business opportunities, and booking high‑quality meetings for sales leadership to close.

The ideal candidate is a tech‑savvy, disciplined outbound professional who can establish credibility with senior stakeholders, execute multi‑channel outreach campaigns, and consistently generate qualified opportunities. This role partners closely with Sales and Marketing to expand market awareness and accelerate revenue growth.

Target Compensation

USD $50,000–$70,000, plus commission.

Required qualifications
  • 2–3+ years in Business Development, Demand Generation, SDR/BDR, or outbound sales roles
  • Proven ability to book meetings with multiple stakeholders in top‑tier enterprise accounts
  • Strong discovery and qualification skills (you can separate curiosity from noise)
  • Strong consultative communication and business development skills
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable with high‑volume outbound activity
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM workflows and basic reporting hygiene
  • Experience with tools such as CRM platforms, Linked In Sales Navigator, data enrichment and prospecting tools, and Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required; equivalent experience includes a proven track record of skills, professional accomplishments, or training related to the role
Experience that's a plus
  • CRM Systems:
    Salesforce, Hub Spot, or Pipedrive
  • Prospecting Tools:
    Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Hub Spot Sales Pro
  • Consistent generation of qualified meetings and pipeline
  • Strong account penetration and stakeholder engagement
  • High‑quality handoffs to Sales with actionable insights
  • Disciplined outbound execution with continuous improvement in messaging and conversion rates
What you'll actually do
  • Pipeline Development
    • Identify and engage decision‑makers within target accounts
    • Generate qualified meetings for Sales Directors and Account Executives
    • Develop and manage short‑, medium‑, and long‑term sales pipelines
    • Drive account penetration by engaging multiple stakeholders per account
    • Support opportunity progression beyond initial discovery in collaboration with Sales
  • Outbound Prospecting & Campaign Execution
    • Execute consistent multi‑channel outreach including cold calling, email sequences, Linked In engagement/messaging, and event networking
    • Manage one‑to‑one persona‑based and industry‑based email campaigns
    • Maintain consistent outbound activity aligned with performance targets (minimum 30 dials per day)
  • Discovery & Qualification
    • Conduct discovery and pre‑qualification calls for inbound and outbound leads
    • Identify client challenges within supply chain areas such as AI, planning, warehousing, and transportation
    • Coordinate internal resources to support opportunity progression and development
  • Messaging & Prospect Engagement
    • Develop and refine value‑driven outreach messaging and email sequences
    • Tailor messaging to role‑specific pain points and business priorities
    • Test and optimize subject lines, messaging strategies, and outreach approaches
    • Handle objections professionally and keep conversations moving toward a meeting
    • Secure meetings with senior stakeholders
  • CRM, Data & Sales Alignment
    • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and reporting
    • Use Linked In Sales Navigator and data enrichment tools (e.g., Zoom Info) to build targeted prospect lists
    • Partner closely with Sales to align on target accounts and outreach strategy
    • Document call notes, engagement insights, and account intelligence
Pay Range

USD $50,000–$70,000 per year plus commission; on‑target earnings $100,000+
