This position is designed as an entry point into our business with a clear path toward business development and outside sales.
Position SummaryThe Business Development & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting our Texas operations through compliance administration, customer support, operational coordination, and sales assistance.
Reporting directly to the Compliance Department, this role will help maintain accurate employee and customer records, assist with operational workflows, and provide administrative support that allows our Operations Managers to focus on serving clients and growing the business.
As experience and performance are demonstrated, this position will transition into a customer‑facing business development role responsible for generating new business throughout the Houston market.
Responsibilities Compliance & Administration- Maintain employee licensing, certifications, and compliance records.
- Process onboarding documentation and personnel files.
- Enter and audit data across company systems to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain customer contract and service documentation.
- Assist with compliance reporting and internal audits.
- Support regulatory and licensing requirements as assigned.
- Provide administrative support to Texas Operations Managers.
- Prepare work orders, proposals, and customer documentation.
- Coordinate customer requests and follow‑up activities.
- Track project progress and assist with service delivery.
- Help maintain organized records for active accounts and projects.
- Maintain customer information within Hub Spot CRM.
- Research prospective customers and market opportunities.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.
- Schedule customer meetings and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Support marketing and business development initiatives.
This role is intended to develop into a Business Development position. As the successful candidate becomes familiar with our operations, responsibilities will expand to include:
- Prospecting new commercial customers.
- Conducting customer meetings and site visits.
- Developing relationships with existing clients.
- Identifying expansion opportunities within current accounts.
- Building and managing a sales pipeline.
- Selling physical security, CCTV, access control, alarm, and fire protection services.
- 2+ years of experience in administration, operations, customer service, sales support, or compliance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable learning new technology and software platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- CRM experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Self‑motivated and dependable.
