What You'll Do

As a Leasing Consultant, you'll be the first impression of our community and a key contributor to its success.

You'll:

  • Welcome prospects and build rapport while getting to know their needs and wants.
  • Provide engaging community tours
  • Showcase apartment homes and highlight the unique benefits of living at Indus Communities
  • Convert qualified prospects into happy residents
  • Process lease applications and assist with applicant screening
  • Support resident move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
  • Build positive relationships with residents and provide outstanding customer service
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and community events
  • Conduct apartment inspections and help maintain community standards
  • Partner with maintenance and management teams to deliver an exceptional resident experience

Requirements What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least six months of relevant sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to the community team
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management technology platforms
  • Assist with lease renewals by proactively communicating with residents and promoting retention
  • Must possess a positive attitude and self‑awareness to be fully present and engaging with team members, residents, and prospects, while exuding a smile and calm, pleasant demeanor
  • Operate telephone, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and community software
Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in customer service and in sales and leasing across multifamily housing and/or hospitality
