Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support professional to provide administrative and operational support to our sales team. This position will play a key role in ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining customer and sales data, coordinating across internal departments, and providing timely support to both customers and sales representatives.
The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
+ Enter, process, and track sales orders accurately within the company's ERP and CRM systems.
+ Prepare and distribute quotations, proposals, order confirmations, and other sales documentation.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, contracts, pricing agreements, and related documentation.
+ Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Accounting, and other internal teams to support on-time order fulfillment and accurate invoicing.
+ Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, changes, or potential delays to customers and sales representatives.
+ Provide administrative support to technical inside sales representatives, including scheduling calls, preparing reports, and organizing sales information.
+ Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly sales reports, forecasts, KPIs, and other business metrics.
+ Support the development of customer presentations, product literature, and other sales and customer-facing materials.
+ Serve as a primary point of contact for routine customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery schedules, documentation, and related matters.
+ Maintain CRM data integrity by ensuring customer accounts, opportunities, contacts, and activities are accurately and consistently updated.
+ Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, communication, and overall sales support efficiency.
+ Perform other administrative and sales-support duties as needed.
Requirements
+ Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, sales support, customer service, or a related role.
+
Experience with in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or technical environment is preferred.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
+ Experience working with ERP and CRM systems is required.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry, order processing, and documentation.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong customer-service orientation and professional communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build effective relationships with internal and external customers.
+ Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
