Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Sales will lead a team of more than 20 professionals across sales, business development, strategic accounts, and sales operations.

This executive will be responsible for accelerating organic growth, improving gross margins, and building a disciplined, high-performing commercial organization. The successful candidate will develop and execute the sales strategy, strengthen key customer relationships, and align the sales organization with the company’s revenue, profitability, and EBITDA objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company’s overall sales strategy and annual sales plan.
  • Establish revenue, gross-margin, pipeline, and performance targets aligned with company objectives.
  • Build a competitive, accountable, and customer-focused sales culture.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and manage a high-performing sales organization.
  • Implement scalable sales processes, including forecasting, budgeting, account assignments, KPIs, and scorecards.
  • Drive new customer acquisition, strategic-account growth, cross-selling, pricing discipline, and increased share of wallet.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate performance and improve win rates, margins, and sales productivity.
  • Maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and prospects.
  • Communicate sales performance, opportunities, and risks to executive leadership, the board, and private equity stakeholders.
  • Support organizational change and the commercial integration of acquired businesses.
Ideal Experience
  • At least 15 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within industrial or mechanical services.
  • Proven success driving organic growth in a company with more than $100 million in revenue.
  • Experience leading a sizable, multi-functional sales organization.
  • Track record of designing and implementing sales strategies, processes, KPIs, and performance-management systems.
  • Experience improving revenue growth, win rates, gross margins, and profitability.
  • Private equity, M&A, and post-acquisition integration experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive-level relationship-building skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage effectively with frontline employees, customers, senior executives, and board members.
