As Business Development Manager, you will identify customer challenges and develop them into qualified commercial opportunities for both AQ Mar Test and AQ Degassing. You will independently build target-account lists, conduct proactive outreach, lead initial discovery and qualify opportunities based on technical fit, commercial potential, timing and customer need.

- Develop and execute an annual territory and account-development plan
- In collaboration with the Director USA and CCO, covering both AQ Mar Test and AQ Degassing.
- Build and maintain a prioritized target-account list and conduct proactive prospecting.
- Focused on tank terminals, chemical producers, refineries, and other strategic Gulf Coast customers, using telephone, email, networking, and direct visits.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and identify customer needs
- Engage with operational, technical, procurement, and management stakeholders to translate customer challenges into commercial opportunities.
- Lead discovery meetings and develop proposals/solutions
- Organize technical discussions, coordinate site visits, and work with the team to develop proposals and solutions that match customer needs.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up and manage the sales process, including reporting
- Ensure clear follow-up, document activities in the CRM system, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports on commercial progress.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a commercial or maritime field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years of B2B business development or technical sales experience (5+ years preferred).
- Experience in industrial services, chemical, maritime, or related sectors.
- Strong prospecting and sales skills; proven ability to win new business.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and use CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel regularly in the Gulf Coast region.
