Area Manager, Director of Sales, Client Relationship Management
Sales Team Leader
Lead, develop, and motivate the Sales Team that includes Parts & Accessories, Capital Assets, CPO and Refurb to achieve revenue, profitability, and performance objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Develop and execute strategic sales and business growth plans to expand market share, increase customer retention, and drive sustainable growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key accounts, while supporting overall company goals and resolving escalated concerns.
Oversee departmental operations, including sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, pipeline management, pricing strategies, and day-to-day sales activities.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and industry developments to identify opportunities and recommend business strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and organizational objectives.
Analyze performance metrics and financial results; prepare forecasts, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Develop employees through coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, ethical standards, and operational procedures.
Perform other duties, special projects, travel requirements, and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Experience:
3-5+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Experience managing customer relationships and business development activities. Industry experience in equipment rental, heavy equipment, industrial, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Ability to analyze sales data and develop action plans. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. JD Edwards (JDE preferred)
