Business Sales Representative | Houston, TX
Join our team as a Sales Representative, where you'll leverage your sales expertise to find new business and maintain our current business for the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to all customers as directed by the Sales Director.
- Manage the Sales Department email inbox and respond to all inquiries by the end of the business day.
- Manage the Sales Department voicemail and return calls by the end of the business day.
- Develop and deliver sales quotes by the end of the business day.
- Prepare quotes and contracts for customers.
- Book charters in the fleet management system, ensuring all relevant information is included, such as client itineraries, client needs, maps, etc.
- Build strong relationships with all current and potential clients.
- Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
- Collaborate with dispatch, ensuring effective communication with the sales department regarding customer requests, special requests, review of itineraries, farm outs, schedule changes, and special instructions.
- Contribute to department and company goals by supporting team initiatives and completing related tasks as needed.
- Verify charter log hours (paperwork) within the fleet management system as needed.
- Promote the client portal on the company website for client information and payment submission.
- Accurately enter charter driver actual miles in the fleet management system for invoicing as needed.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work as needed.

- 2-3 years of sales experience (transportation-related is a plus)
- Experience in group travel or tourism environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of the motorcoach industry and/or transportation industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to fluently speak, read, and write English
- Proficiency in MS Office.
