This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Houston, TX. The Sales Associate will support existing and potential customers by responding to inquiries, preparing basic quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, providing product information, and assisting with order tracking and delivery updates. The role also involves collaborating with production and logistics teams to meet customer deadlines and resolve issues quickly.
The Sales Associate will contribute to sales growth by identifying opportunities, following up on leads, and upholding Atlas's commitment to quality service.
- Customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with glazers, architects, builders, and internal teams.
- Sales support capabilities, including handling inquiries, assisting with quotes, and following up on leads to help drive revenue.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn about architectural aluminum products, fabrication processes, and industry terminology.
- Proficiency with office software and CRM or order-entry systems, with strong attention to detail for data entry and documentation.
- Collaborative mindset and reliability, with the ability to work on-site in Houston, TX and coordinate effectively across departments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, construction, or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or construction/building materials environments is preferred but not mandatory.
