About the Role

The Internal Wholesaler works with an external wholesaler as a business development resource to financial planners and advisors for Corebridge Financial annuity products. In partnership with assigned Regional Vice Presidents, the Internal Wholesaler focuses on growing new business in support of regional sales goals, facilitating distribution relationships, and providing training and support for distribution staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the development and management of regional business plans, aligning with the RVP to grow new business within the assigned territory.
  • Analyzes territory production to identify sales growth opportunities and provides continuous feedback to the RVPs about partner changes, issues, or items of interest.
  • Provides routine communication updates with the Regional Vice President to share joint regional sales activities, reviews sales reports, generates marketing concepts & ideas, coordinates sales success stories, and shares relevant company information.
  • Distributes marketing ideas and presentations based on distribution profiles and marketing strategies.
  • Assists with the development and execution of special marketing campaigns and special project assignments.
  • Conducts proactive daily outbound sales calls to partners, educating them about Corebridge Financial products, discussing agency niche opportunities and challenges, recommending case design solutions, marketing ideas, and advanced sales concepts to drive increased production.
  • Participates in and delivers new and existing product and sales training to enhance performance and career development.
Requirements
  • Expanded knowledge of Life Insurance and Annuity products and familiarity with Advanced Sales concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Discretion, judgment, and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated record of self‑direction, initiative, leadership, problem‑solving and adaptability.
  • Strong public speaking ability, with the capacity to plan, organize, develop and deliver effective presentations to a targeted audience.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, illustrations, internet, and electronic marketing.
  • Strong service orientation.
  • Proven telemarketing/telephone skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree; 1+ year experience in Life & Health.
  • Life & Health License – required.
  • FINRA SIE, Series 6 & 63 Licenses required.
Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX office and follows a hybrid working policy, allowing colleagues to work both in the office and remotely.

Legal and Regulatory

This role is deemed a “covered associate” under SEC Rule 206(4)-5, 17 CFR § 275.206(4)-5. Candidates must not have made any political contributions that would disqualify Corebridge Financial from conducting its business or create a conflict of interest. Applicants advancing in the process will be required to disclose all U.S. political contributions made by them and household members over the past two years.
