Showroom Sales Associate

A growing, family-owned showroom in Houston specializing in high-end cabinetry and plumbing fixtures is expanding their close-knit team and they are looking for a showroom sales associate to help with customer enquiries from the floor in the Houston Design District.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing family-owned business and share in the company expansion through performance bonuses and company growth incentives.

The role is based on-site in the Houston Design District and currently does not involve weekend work, however it may lead to working one weekend day in the future.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn the responsibilities of the role. Applications from individuals who have a demonstrable interest in fields such as sales, interior design, hardware, high-end property development will stand out.

The successful candidate will engage with luxury builders, interior designers, and affluent homeowners on the showroom floor to discuss high-end plumbing and cabinetry products. In addition, the showroom sales associate will work alongside a senior sales team member to help with account management by managing the customer database and email activities.

This is a showroom-based, relationship-driven role perfectly suited for somebody keen to learn about the industry which supports high-end home builders and interior designers in Houston.

• Serve as a point of contact for interior designers, builders, and homeowners visiting the showroom.
• Support the senior salesperson with database management and client appointments.
• Develop product knowledge across plumbing fixtures, cabinet hardware, and door hardware.
• Develop expertise in consultative sales, prioritising aligning customer needs with the business' products and services.

• Some experience in interior design, high-end hardware sales, or showroom sales is preferable.
• You are open to learning across multiple product categories including plumbing, cabinets, and doors.
• You can demonstrate having taken responsibility in a previous role or activity.
• Comfortable travelling to the Houston Design District daily.
