The Discharge Sales Representative is responsible for expanding market reach and maintaining customer/referral satisfaction within the Durable Medical Equipment industry. This role demands effective communication, industry expertise, and a commitment to ethical conduct. Sales Representatives will play a pivotal role in driving growth, managing client accounts, and ensuring seamless order processing.
Essential Functions- Market Engagement:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to engage key stakeholders, including nursing homes, hospitals, home health agencies, and memory care facilities. - Order Management:
Take ownership of the complete order cycle, from initiation fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. - Client Presentations:
Deliver persuasive presentations to secure new business opportunities and introduce referrals to our new products and top-of-the-line service. - Industry Expertise:
Stay up to date with industry trends, insurance requirements, and regulatory changes that may affect our clients. - System Proficiency:
Utilize internal tools and systems, such as Parachute, Lazarus, and internal workflows, to optimize processes and increase productivity. - Insurance Proficiency:
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of insurance documentation requirements, our product offerings, and the delivery process.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using internal software and systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare insurance documentation and requirements.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to exceed targets.
- Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Prolong periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 70 pounds at times.
Must be able to access all areas of the facility.
Hearing, seeing and talking are required for this position.
Compensation Package:Base Pay $45,000 annual salary, plus uncapped commission and $900 per month car allowance
