What You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will be a key player in the lab, balancing technical execution with research-driven optimization. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Molecular & Vector Engineering: Performing Gene Cloning, Recombinant Baculovirus Generation, and AAV Vector Production.
- Quality & Analytics: Running critical assays to verify the quality and quantity of AAV vectors.
- Process Improvement: Designing and executing research experiments to improve existing AAV Production Systems.
- Lab Operations: Managing lab supply purchasing and maintaining a high standard of research-level record keeping.
- Compliance: Ensuring all work meets GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) documentation standards.
We need a result-driven individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. To be successful, you should bring:
- Education: B.A./B.S. in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related fields).
- Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on lab experience and a genuine passion for bench work.
- Mindset: A creative and enthusiastic energy to tackle challenging scientific problems.
- Adaptability: The ability to multitask effectively, meet hard deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).
