Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Neurology; Dr. Soto

UTHealth Houston’s Neurology Department is hiring for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join their team of professionals. The Postdoc will be responsible for assisting faculty researchers and collaborators, or working independently, in planning and designing research experiments; operating specialized scientific equipment; conducting data collection, processing, and analysis; participating in fieldwork and contributing to the preparation of scientific publications and reports; presenting project results to internal and external stakeholders;

and may provide training and guidance to staff and graduate assistants.

A biomedical postdoc position provides an opportunity for early-career researchers to gain valuable experience, develop independent research skills, and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in their field of expertise.

• Plans and conducts experiments, analyzes data, and prepares publications describing results.
• Assists in training and mentoring of lab personnel, including graduate students and other trainees.

• Has strong written and oral communication skills.
