POSITION OVERVIEW:
A short description of the general purpose of the position
The Senior Security Manager is a key leadership role responsible for enterprise-wide physical security, access control governance, and protection of personnel, assets, and critical infrastructure across Integra’s construction projects, manufacturing facilities, and office locations.
This position designs, leads, and continuously improves Integra’s Security Management System in alignment with Safe State, PausePoint, IMPACT values, and our high-energy-hazard operational environment. The Senior Security Manager partners with Operations, Manufacturing, HR, IT, and Executive Leadership to ensure the consistent deployment of risk mitigation controls, emergency preparedness, vendor oversight, and security technology across all Integra entities.
The role requires strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and the ability to manage security programs at large scale, including high-risk, high-value environments such as major data center campuses and modular manufacturing plants.
Responsibilities- Security Governance & Strategy:
Lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of Integra’s Enterprise Security Management System. - Security Strategy:
Define security strategy aligned to business growth, manufacturing expansion, and multi-site construction operations. - Governance:
Establish governance for physical security controls, visitor management, access privileges, and investigations. - Risk Principles:
Integrate Safe State principles into all security protocols, emphasizing risk recognition, PausePoint decision-making, and SIF-potential event prevention.
- Operational Security Leadership:
Oversee security operations across manufacturing facilities, construction sites, corporate offices, and logistics yards. - Staffing Models:
Direct the planning and implementation of security staffing models for multi-state operations. - Vendor & Post Orders:
Supervise contract security firms and ensure compliance with performance metrics, training, and post orders. - Systems & Hardware:
Manage access control systems, alarms, CCTV, credentialing, and site-specific security hardware.
- Incident Response & Investigations:
Lead all major security incident responses, including theft, vandalism, workplace violence, unauthorized access, and criminal activity. - Investigations Coordination:
Coordinate with HSE, HR, Legal, and Executive Leadership to manage investigations and corrective actions. - Standards & Reporting:
Develop enterprise standards for reporting, escalation, classification, and closure of security events.
- High-Risk & High-Value Asset Protection:
Oversee protection programs for mission-critical operations: data center commissioning, high-value equipment yards, modular electrical gear, copper inventory, and fleet assets. - Controls Enforcement:
Develop and enforce controls around tool rooms, laydown areas, dock doors, and shipping/receiving operations. - Risk Assessments:
Conduct threat assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk mitigation planning for new project mobilizations and manufacturing expansions.
- Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management:
Support enterprise emergency response plans, including active threat, fire, severe weather, evacuation, and shelter-in-place procedures. - Crisis Leadership:
Serve as a crisis response leader during events impacting sites, facilities, or employees. - Training & Drills:
Coordinate training, tabletop exercises, and response drills across business units.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:
Partner with HSE leadership to ensure seamless integration of physical security into safety operations, Safe State, and energy-hazard programs. - HR Partnership:
Collaborate with HR on workforce protection, investigations, and workplace violence prevention. - IT
Collaboration:
Work with IT on cybersecurity, badge systems, and networked security infrastructure. - Fleet Management:
Support asset tracking, theft prevention, and recovery programs.
