** Security Officer - Gatehouse Driver
** in  
** Houston, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage entrances and vehicle gates, verify credentials, support visitor processing, and conduct routine patrols while staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service with integrity.

This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, and you will support an agile, reliable, and innovative team culture.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.

+ Operate access control functions by checking identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and directing traffic to approved entry points.

+ Monitor and document vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit, verify deliveries and contractor access against approved lists, and report discrepancies according to post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas such as gate lanes, staging areas, and perimeter points, and complete required reports for unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A TSA Issued TWIC is required.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
