Duties DUTY 1:
Critical Serves as the focal point for the security forces training program, coordinating and implementing all training activities for the unit. DUTY 2:
Critical Conducts training classes for security forces personnel. Prepares lesson plans and teaches formal or informal training courses for personnel in various Security Forces functional activities in accordance with AFI 36-2646. DUTY 3:
Critical Develops and monitors the accomplishment of security forces training plans and obtains and develops training aids and materials. DUTY 4:
Critical Attends, arranges, and conducts meetings, briefings, and workshops and performs other duties related to security forces training. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
* If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:
* This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program
* This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
* Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
* Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
* Employee must maintain current certifications
* Disclosure of Political Appointments
* This position requires a Department of Defense Security Professional Certification.
* May be required to wear special protective clothing such as coats, boots, vests, gas masks, and/or helmets and may be exposed to high levels of noise such as aircraft engines.
* This is a Mission Essential (ME) position performing a Mission Critical Function (MCF) IAW, DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs.
* This position is designated as a key position IAW AFI 36-507.
* This position has access to classified information.
* This position requires a Department of Defense Security Professional Certification. The DoD Physical Security Certification (PSC) is required within 2 years of,. * ..the established EOD or initial assignment date to this position.
* The duties of this position require the employee to operate a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required. Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes:
Applying knowledge of commonly applied security concepts, principles, practices, and requirements to effectively coordinate and provide effective training for the unit and physical, personnel, industrial, operational, and informational security to resolve well-defined questions and develop lesson plans. Having knowledge of security forces programs and objectives, and military/civilian security forces training program processes to develop comprehensive training programs and identify training requirements and skill in developing course materials and instructional methods, principles, and techniques;
ability to instruct a training course in a classroom setting and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. OR
EDUCATION:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND
EDUCATION:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

You must submit a copy of your transcripts. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
NOTE:
Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements. KNOWLEDGE,
