- Provide direct security and related public services.
- Support safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations.
- Uphold NASS commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.
- Provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment (where applicable).
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and company needs.
- Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on business needs.
- Completed High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., and help restrain or lift a person.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet NASS company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).
- For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor.
The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
