Job Title: Security Officer I-LBJ,
Salary: $19.67 - $22.79
Responsible for patrolling, protecting, and securing all Harris Health System buildings and grounds, promoting safety and security at all locations. Responds to crisis intervention team activations and assists by providing security to the area.
Minimum Qualifications- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Licenses &
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (training must be completed within six months of employment);
Valid Texas Driver's License; TPSB III registration within 90 days of employment. - Communication
Skills:
Above Average Verbal (heavy public contact), Writing/Reports - Proficiencies: MS Word, PC, typing
- Work Schedule: Weekends, Flexible, Overtime, Holidays
- Must be available for E-1 disaster situations.
- Must understand and communicate English effectively in both verbal and written form.
- Equipment Operated: PC based electronic access control, CCTV, parking systems;
Handheld radio systems;
Patrol vehicle.
