Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology‑focused location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through established site procedures.

Support day‑to‑day operations by providing directions, assisting with visitor questions, and following post orders related to security‑related procedures, alarms, and after‑hours access requests.

A minimum of 2 years of security‑related experience is required.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
