** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and help to confirm that entry and exit activity follows site protocols, including screening visitors, checking credentials, and reporting irregularities.

+ Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, visitors, and/or emergency responders as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
