As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires an active driver's license and Level III Armed Certification.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access where required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Support retail operations by assisting with de-escalation, following post orders for cash-handling or asset protection areas, and communicating observed issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
