** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with store leadership and/or public responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity such as shoplifting, trespassing, and/or disorderly conduct, and follow post orders for reporting, escalation, and incident follow-up.

+ Support opening, closing, and high-traffic periods by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with customer interactions, and addressing security-related concerns in accordance with site expectations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
