Unarmed Security Officer Position, Houston, TX

Overnight security officer to work full time in Houston, TX 77049. Unarmed security officer, 5 days per week. Weekends are a must (Thursday through Monday) from 10pm–6am. The position pays $13.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour for vehicle use, for a total of $14.00 per hour. A functioning vehicle in good condition is required.

• Perform access controls at gates.
• Foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

• Level II Non‑Commissioned License is required.
• Customer service.
• Familiarity with detailed report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Tech‑savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
• Registered as a security officer on DPS or possesses a valid Level II/Level III certificate.
• Must have reliable transportation and a working smartphone.
