Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Schedules- Full Time:
- Sunday to Tuesday 1900 - 0700
- Sunday to Thursday 2300 - 0700
- Saturday and Sunday 0700 - 1900, Wednesday and Thursday 1500 - 2300
- Flex:
- Assigned one shift a week minimum
- Ability to pick up more shifts on a weekly basis based around your schedule!
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation support and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for visitors, staff, and/or contractors in accordance with location protocols.
- Document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must be able to carry a taser.
- Be willing to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes exposure to the morgue.
- Be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
