Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. • Sat: 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with local management and/or first responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and observe conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and other designated locations for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft concerns, reporting observations according to site guidelines.
• Support opening, closing, and after-hours procedures as assigned, including checking access points, verifying authorized access, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
