As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driving in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Job Schedule:

Day Time Tuesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Wednesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Thursday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Friday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including de‑escalating conflicts and contacting local law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas, assist with access control and/or crowd management, and document security‑related incidents, observations, and daily activities according to site procedures.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
