As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrols in Houston, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will help to identify and respond to security-related concerns while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and care.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, deliveries, and/or visitor activity to help support orderly operations and follow post instructions related to restricted areas and authorized access.
• Report hazards, maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel while following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
