As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Houston, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast‑paced transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding security‑related concerns.
• Support transportation operations by observing pedestrian and vehicle activity, assisting with directions and general information, and documenting routine and unusual events in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
