As a Security Officer Armed Motorized Patrol Driver in Houston, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy retail location, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents while supporting guests and staff with strong customer service and communication. • Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience (C158)

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential theft-related behavior to help support loss prevention efforts and help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive conduct.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing activities, and incident reporting while maintaining a visible presence in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
