Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual)- 21+ Years of Age (C101)
- Active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only) (C122)
- 3+ Year Military Police or Corrections Officer or Armed Security or Certified Law Enforcement Graduate (C156)
- 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and/or document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures and government location requirements.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
