• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with local leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, and report concerns according to post orders.
• Support loss prevention and other security‑related operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de‑escalation, and following all armed post protocols and reporting requirements.

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
