Asset Protection Investigator

Salary Range
: $22.61 - $28.26 per hour

Saks Global, the world’s largest multi‑brand luxury retailer, seeks an Asset Protection Investigator to prevent losses from theft and fraud at its Distribution Center. The position reports to the Asset Protection Manager and is based on site.

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store
• Assess and help with emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators of internal or external theft and fraud
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all Asset Protection incidents properly
• Prepare and complete reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
• Reduce and control inventory loss through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs

• 1+ year(s) of experience in Loss Prevention / Asset Protection
• Customer‑focused mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic proficiency with computer software
• Investigative and conflict management skills
• Ability to respond quickly to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on store needs
