As a Security Officer Armed Roving Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior, trespassing, and/or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Possess an active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only).
• These licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
