Job Skills / RequirementsJob Description We are seeking highly motivated Shift Supervisors with strong leadership and organizational skills to join our team. The Overnight Shift Supervisor will oversee up to twenty-two employees and must be capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate will lead by example, demonstrate exceptional problem‑solving abilities, and possess the ability to respond calmly and effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct uniform inspections for all officers on duty.
- Ensure all officers have the appropriate and assigned equipment.
- Oversee payroll documentation, confirming all corrections are made and officers are signed in at the correct times.
- Patrol the property to ensure officers are alert, properly uniformed, and fulfilling their duties.
- Be thoroughly familiar with all emergency codes and procedures.
- Maintain positive and professional interactions with customers, contractors, managers, and city officials.
- Keep the Account Manager and Branch Manager informed of any counseling, re‑training, or disciplinary actions.
- Respond immediately to infractions or concerns brought to the attention of the shift supervisors.
- Collaborate with the site Payroll/Scheduler to manage schedules, minimize non‑billable overtime, and ensure fair workload distribution.
- Stay informed of each officer’s capabilities and performance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of security experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a security supervisor role.
- Strong customer service or client support background.
- Computer literate with strong typing and basic report‑writing skills.
- Effective communication and active listening abilities.
- Capable of handling a variety of personalities with professionalism.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Saturday: OFF
- Sunday: OFF
- Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Note: Having an open schedule is preferred.
