Security Officer TWIC Access Driver in Houston, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and supporting a professional environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and clear communication. $14.00 / Hour

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to gates, loading areas, parking areas, and other access points where security-related concerns may arise.
• Document visitor activity, access exceptions, and security-related incidents with clear and accurate reports, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
