As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM;
Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel or public emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials or authorizations as required, and document security-related activities, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with site procedures.
- Carry and maintain assigned armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements, and remain prepared to respond to security-related concerns within the scope of post orders.
- Have 3+ years of experience as military police or a corrections officer or in armed security-related work, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or have 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
