Armed Driver Patrol – Security Officer in Houston, TX
. You will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles via our Claim a Shift platform. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a visible armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe customer and employee interactions, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support incident documentation, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during security-related events.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
